7. The length of course has been calculated to allow an average student the time to complete the course; however, this will depend on individual aptitude, as will the degree of proficiency achieved.
8. Courses should be completed in the specified time. If the course is not completed within the time agreed, and if the student wishes to carry on with the course, this is at the discretion of the Centre Manager, and an additional fee will be payable.
9. If a student needs to submit a second attempt test, this must be completed within agreed/specified time of receipt of the not passed first attempt test.
10. In exceptional circumstances, if a student is unable to complete the course(s) at the centre shown, then you may be able to transfer to another Pitman Training centre. ( Not applicable in Pakistan )
11. All students must use the workbooks and materials specified for the course booked.
12. Pitman Training Pakistan will make every effort to ensure the student reaches the required standard. It must be appreciated that regular practice is an integral part of the course.
13. Pitman Training Pakistan does not supply stationery or other resources for home practice. Pitman Training might facilitate at additional costs.
14. Where a student does not pass any of the course validation tests, a charge may be levied to cover the cost of second attempts.
15. A student who wishes to take external examinations (where appropriate) will have to pay the examination fees in advance.
16. External examination fees are non-refundable.
17. Past external examination papers, where available, are provided to students to practice, and may be charged under separate cover.
18. Pitman Training Pakistan is unable to accept responsibility for loss or damage to student’s property.
19. Pitman Training Pakistan reserves the right to dismiss any student who is consistently disruptive or does not attend regularly for lessons.
20. A diploma is only issued when a student passes all subjects contained in the programme. If a student does not meet this specification, individual certificates will be issued for the subjects passed.
21. In case of lost certificate or diploma the student will pay an extra fee for the issuance of duplicate certificate or diploma.

23. Intellectual Property
23.1. All Intellectual Property Rights in the Course Materials, Online Courses and the speeches made by trainers at the Taught Courses are, and remain, the intellectual property of Pitman Training Group and it's franchises, whether adapted, written for or customised for the Client or not.
23.2. You are not authorised to:-
(i) copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the Course Materials without prior written permission;
(ii) record on video or audio tape, relay by videophone or other means the Online Course or Taught Course given
(iii) use the Course Materials in the provision of any other course or training whether given by us or any third party trainer;
(iv) remove any copyright or other notice of Pitman Training Group on the Course Materials;
(v) modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer (save to the extent permitted by law) any software forming part of the Online Courses.
23.3. In consideration of the Fees paid by you, we grant to you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Course Materials and the software in respect of the Online Course for the sole purpose of completing the Online Course and / or attending the Taught Course.
24. Breach by you of this clause 23.2 shall allow us to immediately terminate these terms and conditions with you and cease to provide you with any Services, including but not limited to access to the Online Courses.
